The Eastern Michigan University Kresge Environmental Education Center (EMU-KEEC) is located at 2816 Fish Lake Rd. in Mayfield Township, Lapeer County, Michigan. Known as "Fish Lake" to the staff and students of EMU, the site provides an ideal educational setting for students of Eastern Michigan University's Biology programs.  Diverse in both topography and biota, the 240 acre property is adjacent to, or nearby, approximately 7,000 acres of state land.  For more information please visit the EMU-Fish Lake website at http://ep.emich.edu/locations/fishlake.aspx.

In an effort to compile an inventory of various aquatic plant species found on the property, this Habitat Survey was conducted in July 2011 by students in the Master of Science - Biology Program.  The pages of this website correspond to the different wetland habitats found on the EMU-KEEC property:  Fish Lake, Floating Bog, Chip Pile, and Mussing Pond.  Click on the various tabs to find wetland habitat information and a list of plant species collected and identified.
